The 95–100% requirement applies to all classes.

The power-factor rule

GS1 (under 50 kW), GS2 (over 50 kW), PM, TM; Service Rules section 25

Applies to: All customers.

How it works: Customers must maintain 95–100% power factor and may be required to install corrective equipment. Under a written agreement, a customer causing poor power factor or power quality can be charged a power factor/quality fee. There is no automatic kVAR charge in the rate tables.

"DPU-E electrical service standards for supplying its Customers require the Customer to maintain a power factor of ninety-five (95%) percent to one hundred (100%) percent."
